Where the QEII Cruise Terminal is
The QEII Cruise Terminal is at the far end of the Eastern Docks. You go in through Dock Gate 4, the same entrance as the Ocean Cruise Terminal, then carry on through the dock estate. Allow a few extra minutes after Dock Gate 4, because the terminal sits at the far end of the Eastern Docks.
Ocean Cruise Terminal shares the same dock gate, so check the terminal name on your e-ticket as well as the gate.
Terminal allocations change from sailing to sailing. Always go by the terminal and dock gate printed on your cruise documents, and follow the port signs once you are near the docks.

Going home from the QEII Cruise Terminal

QEII Terminal in the colder months: dark mornings and an open quay
QEII Terminal is at Berth 38/39, the far end of the Eastern Docks, and shares Dock Gate 4 with Ocean Terminal. The last stretch of the drive passes Ocean before reaching QEII, which catches out first-time visitors in the dark. On a wet November or December morning the quayside here is open to the wind coming off the water, one more reason to be dropped at the door rather than walking from a car park with your cases.
For collections, the timetable is set by the sea rather than the clock. Arrivals at the Eastern Docks are usually tied up by about 06:00, yet a storm can push a berth time back by hours. Your driver checks the ship's position before leaving and adjusts, and if you have a flight to catch, the same tracking applies to the airport end of the journey.
