Fixed-fare private transfers to your Celebrity ship, from Heathrow (from £153), Gatwick, London and the home counties. Your driver takes you to the right dock gate and terminal, and collects you when the cruise ends.
Which terminal does Celebrity use?
Celebrity Cruises usually uses the Mayflower Cruise Terminal at Berth 106, at the western end of the Western Docks.
| Terminal | Dock gate | Postcode | From Heathrow | From Gatwick | From central London |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mayflower Cruise Terminal | Dock Gate 20 | SO15 1HJ | £153 | £200 | £183 |
Saloon fares, one way per vehicle, luggage included. An MPV for up to 6 people is £15 more. The terminal on your e-ticket is the one that counts, because allocations change by sailing.
Tips for Celebrity passengers
Mayflower has its own entrance, Dock Gate 20. Satnavs set to the Western Docks often go to Gate 10 instead, which costs time on a busy day.
Arrive at the check-in time on your e-ticket, not earlier. The terminals stagger arrivals, and turning up early usually means waiting in the car or in a queue. See what time to arrive at Southampton cruise terminal.
Celebrity coach transfer or a private car?
Celebrity and other lines sell coach transfers from the airports and some UK towns. They are good value for one person. For two or more, compare the per-head price. A fixed-fare car picks you up from your door, leaves when you are ready and drops you at your dock gate. On the way home it waits for you rather than for the last passenger on the coach. The numbers are in cruise line transfer vs private car.
If you would rather drive, Celebrity passengers use ABParking long-stay parking. The prices are in the Southampton cruise parking guide.
Getting home after the cruise
Your driver tracks the ship and waits at the terminal, with no waiting charge while the ship clears. See Southampton cruise terminal to Heathrow, to Gatwick and to London, and the earliest flight you can book.
Celebrity Apex's transatlantic finale and autumn transfers
Celebrity's Southampton season carries on well into the autumn, and the last departure of 2026 is a repositioning voyage: Celebrity Apex leaves on 18 October for a transatlantic crossing to Port Canaveral. One-way crossings bring a different sort of passenger from the round-trip Norway or Mediterranean cruises earlier in the year, often people with more luggage, a flight home from Florida already arranged and nobody needing collecting at this end. We only have to get you to the ship, and that single journey is priced as a fixed fare for the whole vehicle.
Mid-October mornings in Hampshire are darker and often misty, and the run down from Heathrow or London on the M3 can be slower than it is in July. We plan the pickup around Celebrity's check-in with that in mind. For a crossing, pack for both ends: something warm for the first sea days out in the North Atlantic, lighter things for Florida. A saloon carries two large cases and an MPV four, so a couple travelling with crossing-sized luggage may well be better off in the bigger car.
- Pickup planned for a dark, possibly foggy October morning rather than a bright summer one.
- If your flight into Heathrow or Gatwick is held up, the driver sees the new time and adjusts.
- A one-way crossing needs one booking only, with no return leg to arrange.
- Space in the boot for transatlantic cases, coats and hand luggage together.
If you come back to the UK by air in the winter months, our airport transfers cover the London airports, and the Southampton to Heathrow chauffeur page suits anyone living near the port.
Questions
Which Southampton terminal does Celebrity sail from?
Usually the Mayflower Cruise Terminal. Check your e-ticket, because terminal allocations change by sailing.
How much is a private transfer from Heathrow to a Celebrity cruise?
From £153 one way for a saloon (up to 4 people), per vehicle with luggage included. From central London it is from £183, and from Gatwick from £200.
Where do Celebrity passengers park at Southampton?
Celebrity passengers use ABParking long-stay parking. Off-site park and ride is cheaper but adds a shuttle.
Can the driver collect us from the ship at the end of the cruise?
Yes. The driver tracks the ship and waits at your terminal, with no waiting charge while you disembark.
Do you run transfers for Celebrity Apex's final transatlantic sailing of the season?
Yes. Celebrity Apex ends its 2026 Southampton season with a repositioning crossing to Port Canaveral on 18 October, and we take passengers to that sailing just as we do all summer. Because it is one-way, you only need a single transfer to the ship. Let us know how many cases you are bringing for the crossing so we can send a saloon or an MPV.
How do you handle an autumn flight delay when we are joining a Celebrity ship the same day?
The driver tracks your flight number, so if fog or a late departure pushes your landing back, the pickup time shifts with it and you are met when you come through. If the delay starts to threaten check-in, we will tell you straight away. On tight same-day connections in October, flying in the day before is the calmer option.
