Dover cruise terminal transfers
Dover's two cruise terminals sit in the Western Docks beneath the castle, about 80 miles from central London down the M20 or A2. We drive to the terminal your ship is using from London, Heathrow, Gatwick, Kent and Essex, with a TfL-licensed chauffeur and a fixed fare agreed before you book.
TfL-licensed private hire operator (licence 11588). Fixed fare per vehicle, luggage included, meet and greet, flight tracking and 60 minutes free waiting after landing.
Where we drop you at the Port of Dover
Cruise Terminal 1 is the restored Edwardian Marine Station and Terminal 2 is the newer building next to it; your cruise documents say which. Both are reached through the Western Docks entrance off the A20, with a set-down area outside each terminal where porters take your cases. Dover is the UK's busiest port for small and mid-size ships, so the terminals rarely have the long check-in queues Southampton sees on a multi-ship Saturday.

How the day works
Your driver's name, phone number and registration are sent before you travel. On sailing day we collect you at the time you choose, and we suggest arriving at the terminal inside the check-in window on your cruise documents rather than at opening time, when the queue is longest. At the port the driver takes you to the luggage drop so your cases go straight to the ship, then you walk into check-in with hand luggage only. For disembarkation, give us your ship's arrival time and the driver is waiting when you come through the terminal; the first 60 minutes after the time you give us are free waiting.
The A20 approach into Dover can slow down when cross-Channel ferry traffic is queuing; we build that into the pick-up time we suggest.
Flying in or out
If you fly into Heathrow or Gatwick first, your driver meets you in arrivals with a name board, tracks the flight, and the fare includes 60 minutes of waiting after landing. After the cruise we can take you straight to the airport, or to London for a night before you fly.
