How long is the drive from Heathrow to Chewton Glen?
Allow around 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours via the M25, M3 and M27, then the A337 through the forest. On Friday afternoons and bank holidays it can stretch past 2 hours 30 minutes. We track your flight and plan the route on the day to avoid the worst of the M3 and Lyndhurst traffic.
What if my flight or ship arrives late?
We track flights in real time and monitor ship arrivals at Southampton, so you are never charged for a delay you could not control. 60 minutes of free waiting is included from your actual landing time, and for cruise and hotel pickups a free waiting allowance applies. Your chauffeur will contact you if anything changes.
Can you collect us very early or late at night?
Yes. Early departures for morning flights from Heathrow and late arrivals after long-haul landings are routine for us. Every fare is fixed before you book: early-morning and late-night journeys have no meter, and any peak-time or holiday surcharge is shown on the booking page before you pay. We confirm the full figure in your fixed quote before you book. For sailings, we time your arrival at the cruise terminal to match your check-in slot, so you are not left waiting at the dockside.
How much luggage can we bring after a cruise?
The E-Class and S-Class take up to three passengers with two large cases each journey. Most cruise guests choose the V-Class, which carries up to seven passengers with six or seven large cases plus hand luggage. If you have more, we can send two vehicles together so the party arrives at once.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before your pickup. If your sailing or flight is rescheduled, call us on 020 8888 9988 and we will do our best to move your transfer to the new date. Cruise schedules occasionally shift because of weather or port operations; we will always work with you to rearrange a transfer to match your new disembarkation or embarkation time.
