Canary Wharf is a private estate with its own road layout, security and loading arrangements. Cars cannot simply idle outside One Canada Square or the towers on Bank Street and Churchill Place, and the estate's roads, ramps and the Westferry Circus roundabout confuse drivers who visit occasionally. Our chauffeurs plan each pickup around the correct building entrance and permitted stopping points, so a managing director walking out of a lift lobby finds the car waiting rather than circling the estate looking for a legal place to stop.

Financial work rarely fits office hours. Investor roadshows move between Canary Wharf, the City and Mayfair in a single afternoon; transaction teams finish at midnight and need getting home to Surrey or Hampshire; analysts fly from London City Airport, four miles away, at dawn. A dedicated chauffeur turns that into one coordinated day. The Limehouse Link, The Highway and the Rotherhithe, Blackwall and Silvertown tunnels each have their own pinch points, and we choose between them on live conditions, with any tunnel or ULEZ charges included in your fixed quote.

We also serve the growing number of Hampshire-based professionals who work in E14 part of the week. Southampton to Canary Wharf is around 90 miles, and the train involves South Western Railway into Waterloo plus the Jubilee line, which is reliable until it is not. A Monday-morning chauffeur run lets you work for two hours with Wi-Fi and a quiet cabin, then arrive at the door rather than an underground concourse. Return journeys on Thursday evening avoid the crush at Waterloo entirely.

Who we drive

Built Around Who's Travelling

Corporate Executives

Banking and legal leaders use us for days that jump between Canary Wharf, Liverpool Street and St James's. The chauffeur waits outside each meeting, keeps the schedule moving and absorbs overruns without a new booking. At night we take late-finishing staff home to Surrey, Kent or Hampshire, which is safer and often more efficient for the business than late-night cabs paid individually.

VIP Investors and Board Members

Visiting investors and non-executive directors expect a discreet, polished arrival. An S-Class collects from a private jet terminal at Farnborough or Biggin Hill, or from a Mayfair hotel, and delivers them directly to the correct tower entrance. Our chauffeurs are licensed and DBS-checked, and they understand that nothing said in the car is repeated.

Relocating Families

Families moving to apartments at Wood Wharf, Canary Wharf or Greenwich Peninsula often arrive with many suitcases. A V-Class carries up to seven passengers and six to seven large cases from Heathrow or Gatwick directly to their new building, with child seats on request, so the first day in London does not start on the Elizabeth line with luggage trolleys.

International Visitors

Overseas colleagues landing at Heathrow can take the Elizabeth line, but after a long-haul flight most prefer to be met at arrivals and driven to a hotel such as the Four Seasons at Westferry Circus. We track the flight, meet with a name board and can stay on call for meetings throughout the visit.

On this routeDirect and door to door with one professional chauffeurRide-hail surges are common at Canary Wharf after late finishes and on wet evenings, and few minicab drivers know the estate's permitted stopping points or will wait while a meeting overruns. The Elizabeth line runs direct from Heathrow to Canary Wharf and the Jubilee line links Waterloo, but from Hampshire you face South Western Railway into Waterloo plus the Underground, and engineering works, strikes and weekend closures regularly break that chain.

FAQs

Questions Before You Book

What happens if my flight or the traffic is delayed?

For airport pickups we track your flight in real time, so a delayed landing is covered and 60 minutes of free waiting is included from the actual landing time. For office pickups in Canary Wharf, a free waiting allowance is included. If traffic builds on the A13 or The Highway, we reroute and keep you updated. Your fixed quote does not change.

Can you collect late at night after a deal closes?

Yes, late finishes are routine for us. Tell us the expected end time and we will have a chauffeur on standby, or arrange a call when you are ready. Every fare is fixed before you book: early-morning and late-night journeys have no meter, and any peak-time or holiday surcharge is shown on the booking page before you pay. We include any such element in the quote so your firm knows the cost in advance, whether you are travelling five miles or eighty.

How much luggage can you take?

An E-Class or S-Class takes two large cases plus laptop bags, which suits most business trips. For a roadshow with presentation equipment or a family arriving to relocate, the V-Class carries up to seven passengers and six to seven large cases. If you are travelling with something unusual, such as display stands or document boxes, tell us when booking.

What is your cancellation policy?

We know that meetings move in finance, sometimes within the hour. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before your pickup. To change a pickup time, add a stop or swap passengers, call 020 8888 9988 and we will confirm the update in writing, which helps your assistant or travel desk keep accurate records for every journey billed to the account.

Where can the chauffeur stop at Canary Wharf?

The estate is privately managed and stopping is restricted outside many buildings. We confirm the permitted pickup or drop-off point for your tower before the day, whether that is on Bank Street, Churchill Place, Canada Square or Wood Wharf. Your chauffeur will tell you exactly where the car is, so you do not have to look for it.

Is London City or Heathrow better from Canary Wharf?

London City Airport is about four miles away and usually 10 to 20 minutes by car, which makes it ideal for short-haul European business flights. Heathrow is around 25 miles and can take well over an hour at peak times, so allow more time for long-haul departures. We will advise the right departure time for your flight.

Can you run a full roadshow day between several offices?

Yes. Give us the meeting schedule and we will plan the timings between Canary Wharf, the City and the West End, allowing for traffic on the Embankment and around Bank. The chauffeur stays with you all day and adjusts if a meeting overruns, and the whole itinerary is fixed in one quote.

Do you serve commuters from Hampshire and Surrey?

We do. Many clients live around Winchester, Southampton or Guildford and work in Canary Wharf part of the week. A Monday morning collection gives you two hours to work in comfort, and a Thursday evening return avoids Waterloo at rush hour. Regular bookings can be arranged on a corporate account.
