Our chauffeur fleet: passengers, luggage and which car to book

Every vehicle is driven by a TfL-licensed chauffeur and priced as a fixed fare for the whole car, luggage included. Use this page to pick the right size: the passenger and luggage figures below are the same ones our fare calculator uses, so what you book is what turns up.

TfL-licensed private hire operator (licence 11588). Fixed fare per vehicle, luggage included, meet and greet, flight tracking and 60 minutes free waiting after landing.

"Large case" means a standard cruise or long-haul suitcase (around 75 cm). Each passenger can also bring a cabin bag or rucksack at their feet. If you are near the limit, choose the next size up: a half-empty MPV is more comfortable than a full saloon.

Built for cruise luggage, styled for comfort

Low-slung luxury saloons photograph well and fail the cruise-luggage test: two large cases and a garment bag do not fit, and the fourth passenger ends up with a holdall on their knees. Every car on this page was chosen as a working vehicle for cruise days first. Our Mercedes E-Class saloons take three passengers with two large cases in the boot, not on the seats; the MPVs and V Class take families and friends travelling together with a case each plus hand luggage; and the 9-seater and 16-seat minibuses carry a whole party and its formal wear without a second car. All of them arrive clean, with a driver who loads and unloads, and none of them has a boot sill your suitcase cannot clear.

If you are unsure, use the passenger and luggage figures on each vehicle below and round up: a group of three with four large cases is an MPV, not a saloon, and the fare difference is small compared with a second taxi at the terminal.

Which vehicle for a cruise?

Cruise luggage is bigger than airline luggage, and formal nights add garment bags. Two people with two large cases fit a saloon or Executive. Three or four people with a case each should take an MPV. Five to seven people, or anyone travelling with more than one case each, should book the V-Class. Larger parties are better in the 9-seater or 16-seater than in a convoy of saloons, because one vehicle means one fare and one arrival time at the terminal.

A saloon carries up to 4 passengers with 2 large suitcases plus hand luggage. For 3 or 4 people with a large case each, book an MPV.

The MPV seats up to 6 with 4 large cases. For 6 people with a case each, the V-Class (7 seats, 6 large cases) is the safer choice.

Per vehicle. Four people sharing an MPV pay one fixed fare between them, with luggage included.

Can I request a specific model?

Executive bookings are a Mercedes E-Class or BMW 5 Series; S-Class and V-Class bookings are guaranteed Mercedes. Saloon and MPV bookings are the model listed or an equivalent.
